On origins

It seems to me people are caught up in trying to find the origins of everything. "Everything must have a beginning" they say. But does it really? Why must something have a beginning? Isn't it possible for something simply to have been? Our assumption that everything must have had a beginning and/or creator at one point or other is based upon our limited perception of the universe as we know it. Unfortunately these perceptions are all we can really rely on.

Being human really blows sometimes.
